Tribunes Duo Signs

Monroe Community College of Rochester, NY made it to the NJCAA National D2 Tourney this past March in Danville, IL. The Tribunes had their season come to a end in the consolation bracket to St. Clair Community College. The Tribunes finished the campaign at 29-4 under longtime head coach Gerald Burns. Coach Burns informed JucoJunction.com today that two of his players have signed to move on to new schools for next season.
Raheem Singleton has signed with the University of Maine and Antonio Williams will play at Coppin State University next fall according to Burns.

"Raheem is a true point guard that makes everyone else better around him," said Burns. Singleton averaged 14.8 ppg, 3.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists this past year for the Tribunes. Singleton shot 54% (129-241) from the floor.
Singleton visited Youngstown State this spring before deciding on the Black Bears for next year according to Burns. Singleton was named first team All-Region and third team All-American this year. Singleton scored 675 career points at Monroe Community College.
Williams 6-foot-6 combo forward hails from Poughkeepsie,NY. "Antonio is a solid 3/4 man who can play inside and out" said Burns. Williams averaged 11.1 ppg and 10.8 rebounds this past season. Antonio was named first team All-Region this year.
