Trice Attracting Interest After Frosh Season

Roderick Trice, a long and athletic 6-3, 170 pound shooting guard from Georgia Perimeter College in Decatur, Ga., has generated mid to high major recruiting interest following his freshman season.
Trice, a native of Swainsboro, Ga., averaged 12 points, 5.8 rebouds and 2.9 assists per game for the Jaguars in 2002-2003.

JUCO Junction had a chance to watch Trice play several times at the NJCAA Tournament this past March. An explosive leaping lefty, Trice makes plays that a lot of other guards can't. He's dangerous around the offensive glass, has quick hands on defense and is adroit at slinking to the basket off the dribble.
GPC Head Coach Alfred Barney told JUCO Junction that Georgia, South Carolina, Miami, New Orleans, Appalachian State, Tennessee Tech and East Tennessee State are among the early suitors looking at Trice.
Barney expects Trice to attend the Rick Ball JC Camp at Clayton State in late July.
JUCO Junction will stay on top of Trice and other top JC prospects in the Class of 2004, so keep it here as the summer evaluation period approaches.
