Trio plays well

There were plenty of college coaches from all levels in attendance Friday on the campus of Lindenwood University in St Charles, M.O. One team in the event had a trio of players get off to a strong start this summer. Cape Fear Community College head coach Ryan Mantlo has to be a happy camper on what his three players brought to the table Friday. Emmamuel Andrews, EJ Williams and Jairus King will all play for the Sea Devils this season in Wilmington, N.C.

Andrews (pictured on the front) is a native of Shelbyville, T.N. He played last year in the Panhandle Conference at Northwest Florida State College. Andrews is a scoring point guard who averaged 12.3 points per game for the Raiders last season.
Williams played at Angelina College in Lufkin, T.X. last season. Williams is originally from Raleigh, N.C. and will now join forces to form the new back court this season for the Sea Devils. Williams averaged nine points per game in Texas last season.
King will return to don the Sea Devils uniform again this season. The Richmond, V.A. native started off his college career at Palomar College in California as a football player. "Jairus really enjoys a lot of contact on the floor and today took four charges on the defensive end," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
