Triton College prospect to Central Michigan

Being a JUCO coach, you get to shuffle through a lot of different players on a yearly basis. On some occasions the kids are barely there long enough to develop relationships with the coach and see what the campus has to offer. This however, is not the case with Triton JC Coach Steve Christiansen and his 2 year starter and recent CMU commit Paris Paramore.
"Paris is a special player and he is a special person most of all, every coach says they're going to miss a player but I'm really going to miss Paris, he has done a lot for this team. He is a great kid, very witty and he has great jokes" said Christiansen.

When asked about the type of player Paris is and what he'll bring to the CMU program Christiansen had only the best things to say.
"Paris leads by example and he makes plays when they need to be made. He's the type of player who won't shoot just because he hasn't shot in a while but at the same time he's a stat sheet stuffer"
In his 2 years at Triton Paris complied a 55-7 record and has always been considered a winner who gets it done. Playing in the Chicago Public League in high school Paris played against the likes of Derrick Rose among other greats in a very competitive league, and yet still being very successful.
"All in all, CMU is getting a great basketball player and a great kid on and off the court. He's very solid in taking care of the ball and making good decisions with it and I believe he's going to do great things for the CMU program" added Christiansen.
Christiansen has been at Triton for 6 years now and prior to that was the coach for Northern Illinois, so he is very familiar with the MAC conference.
"The MAC has always been an overlooked conference but year in and year out it remains one of the most competitive out there from top to bottom. It is a good conference though and I'm excited to see what they can produce the next couple years" said Christiansen.
