Two Blue Dragons take official trips

JucoJunction had a chance to touch base with Hutchinson Community College head coach Ryan Swanson last night on sophomores Bobby Maze and Ken Bowman.

"Bobby and Ken are both currently at the University of Maryland on an official visit," said Swanson.

Maze has verbaled to the Terps over Christmas while Bowman, 6-foot-9 (240), has received interest from Kansas State-offered, St. John's-offered, Iowa-offered, USC and

Kansas.

Maze a transfer from Oklahoma is currently averaging 20.9 ppg,4.2 rebounds and 7.8 assists on the season while shooting 55.2% (163-295) from the floor. Bowman is a returner from last year's team is getting 16.4 ppg and 7.8 rebounds a night for the Blue Dragons. Ken averaged 8.5 ppg and 7.1 rebounds a game last season.

The Blue Dragons are currently undefeated in Jayhawk West conference play and (16-4) on the season.
