Rivera, the starting point guard for the Saints, averaged 7.5 ppg and 5.3 assists this season.
"Marlon is a very and strong point guard. He really does a great job in leading the team," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Rivera finished third in the Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year voting according to Mowry.
Leke Lewu will attend Jacksonville State University next season according to Daytona State College head coach Anthony Andre. Lewu, a point guard from Coral Springs, played two season for the Falcons after attending New Creations Prep in Richmond, IN.
"Leke is a pesky defender who can really get into the gaps well," said Swanson.
Lewu led the Falcons to the Florida State Tourney this past March in Marianna, FL at Chipola College. Lewu averaged 8 ppg this season while receiving all-conference honors for the Falcons.
JucoJunction will keep an eye open all over the USA this month and if players are signing we are reporting the news here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.
