Two from Jacksonville make decisions

JucoJunction was informed this morning by Jacksonville College head coach Greg Young that two of his Jaguar players have signed National Letters of Intent for next fall. Jacksonville College is located in Jacksonville, TX and not too far away from rival Lon Morris College. Jacksonville College has a enrollment of around 300 students but has produced some quality basketball players over the years in Eastern Texas. JucoJunction has the latest on which two Jaguars are moving on in this article.
Darryl Ashford, (SO) 6-foot-4 from Houston, TX, has signed with Creighton University of the Missouri Valley Conference according to coach Young.

Kenny Franklin, (SO) 5-foot-10 from Shreveport, LA, has signed with Nicholls State University according to coach Young. Franklin averaged 10.1 ppg and 3 assists this past season. Franklin joins Maurice Foster from North Dakota State College of Science who signed earlier in the week with Nicholls State.
JucoJunction will keep an eye on the rest of the Jaguars later this spring when they decide on a school of their choice.
