Two have decisions from Miami Dade

JucoJunction had a chance to touch base with Miami Dade College head coach Matt Eisele on two of his players making early pledges for next season. We have the latest on these two players in this story.

"Coleman has committed to the University of Memphis," said Eisele. "This is a great day for Will. He has worked so hard and is a great person. He has developed into a big time player. Will has gained close to thirty pounds this summer and has 70% of his degree done in the first year with a 3.0 GPA."
Coleman averaged 10.8 ppg and 9.5 rebounds last season while shooting 58% from the floor for the Sharks. The Sharks ended last season at (18-8).
"Will felt great about Memphis. The three biggest factors for Will were the style of play, Coach Cal's history of developing kids and there success rate of playing at the next level and his relationship with Coach Orlando Antigua," said Eisele.
Darnell Dodson is a (FR) 6-foot-7 (200) wing player from Langley Park, MD. Dodson has decided to go back to the University of Pittsburgh. Dodson signed with the Panthers coming out of high school at Eleanor Roosevelt HS in Maryland. Darnell redshirted last year at Miami Dade College and will have three years to play for the Panthers after he leaves MDC.
"Darnell is a gifted scorer," Eisele said. "He can score the basketball from anywhere on the floor. The Pitt staff has been very loyal to Darnell. It will be a great fit. Coach Dixon and his staff do a great job."
