Two Jacksonville prospects make the call

Two Jacksonville College prospects have made verbal commitments to play Division One basketball in recent days. 6-foot-8 Arthur Zulu will move on to play for Sam Houston State. Combo guard Orrin Greer is headed for Louisiana Tech.
Zulu, a native of Zambia, visited only the Bearkats before making his decision.

"Sam Houston State did their homework and felt really comfortable with Arthur," head coach Greg Young said. "Arthur loved the visit and the team."
Zulu is an active power forward who put on 20 pounds in the offseason to better take the pounding of a full season. He averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds last year but has a strong upside.
Greer also needed just one visit. The Monroe, LA native will be playing in his home state.
"He really felt a comfort zone with Louisiana Tech," Young said. "They will also be losing six seniors to graduation."
Greer averaged nearly ten points a game last season and is a strong on-ball defender.
