Two major visits for Illinois point

John A. Logan College in Carterville, IL is currently 8-2 on the season. The Volunteers were recently visited by some high major programs when they played Mineral Area College. JucoJunction has the latest on what player from the Volunteers is receiving high interest from the Pac 10 to the Big 10 Conference in this article.
Lazeric Jones, a Chicago native, will take two official visits over the holiday break to UCLA and Wisconsin according to Volunteers assistant coach Kyle Smithpeters. Jones will visit UCLA December 20-22 and Wisconsin December 27-29. UCLA head coach Ben Howland was in this past week along with Arizona head coach Sean Miller to see the point guard. Jones prepped at Chicago Simeon with current Chicago Bulls player Derrick Rose.

Jones is also receiving interest from Nevada, DePaul, Nebraska, Alabama, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State according to coach Smithpeters.
"Zeke plays with a good demeanor and really knows how to play the game," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Jones is currently averaging 10.7 ppg and 5.8 assists this season. The Volunteers play Three Rivers Community College and Vincennes University this coming week.
