Two more California signings

The State of California had a lot of good guards this past season. JucoJunction found out recently about two more guards who have signed on with Division One schools next year. Read about these players in this article.
Quinston Reggins, (SO) 6-foot-1 (172) from Aldine,TX, will take his game onto Coppin State University next season in the MEAC Conference according to legendary coach Percy Carr at San Jose City College. The Jaguars finished the season at 25-9 this year and won the Coast-South Division Conference. Reggins, a shooting guard, averaged17.5 ppg, 3.4 assists and 2.3 rebounds this past season for the Jaguars. Reggins closed out his career with 1,093 points in 64 games played for San Jose City College.

Sultan Toles-Bey, (SO) 5-foot-10 (185) from Compton, CA, just completed his community college career at Fresno City College for Head Coach Ed Madec.
Toles-Bey will take his game next season to Sacramento State University. Toles-Bey, a third-year player, sat out the 2007-2008 at Fresno City College. This past year Sultan led the Rams to a 34-1 record and was named State Co-Player of the Year along with first team all-conference in the Central Valley Conference. Toles-Bey averaged 17.4 ppg, 5.1 assists and 2.3 steals this past season for the Rams. Toles-Bey prepped at King Dre Magnet High School before starring for the for the Rams.
