Two more sign from California

Two California community college players recently signed with Division One Schools in the Southern part of the United States. JucoJunction is still running down and locating signings all month long and continues to bring you the latest news.
Justin Ayers, (SO) 6-foot-3 from Reedley College in Reedley, CA, will take his game to Nicholls State University next season in Southern Louisiana. Ayers started his college career at San Jose State University and redshirted while playing the past two seasons for the Tigers. The Tigers, coached by Brian Fonseca, made it to the Final Eight in Fresno, CA before losing. Ayers, a guard, averaged 16.1 ppg this past season.

Heath Gameren, (FR) 6-foot-6 (175) from Hartnell College in Salinas, CA, will play at the University of Alabama-Birmingham next season. Gameren, a point guard from Brisbane, Australia, will have three years to play for the Blazers in Conference USA. Gameren averaged 7.7 ppg, 6.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds this past season while recording 3.1 steals a game.
