Two more sign from Midland

Midland College lost in the NJCAA National Championship game this past March in Hutchinson, KS to Salt Lake Community College. The Chaps recently had two more players decide on their future for next season. JucoJunction found out where these players will be taking their games next season in this article.
Marlon Louzeiro, (SO) 6-foot-7 (238) from Brazil, will be playing in the Sun Belt Conference next season for the Trojans of Arkansas Little Rock.

"Marlon can really finish inside the paint and has great hands while drawing contact. He can also hit the 12 footer facing up on the floor," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Marlon averaged 5.4 ppg and 5.8 rebounds this past season for the Chaps.
Garrett Lever, (SO) 6-foot-0 (180) from Phoenix, AZ, will be will playing at the new Division One program Seattle University under head coach Cameron Dollar. Lever is the son of former NBA player Fat Lever. Lever started his college career at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, a Division Two school. Garrett averaged 5.1 ppg, 4.1 assists and 2.7 rebounds this season a very talented Chaps team.
The Chaps will have a new head coach next season. Former coach Grant McCasland has moved onto NCAA Division Two school Midwestern State University. Ross Hodge, the former Paris Junior College coach, will take over the program at Midland College starting this season.
