Two move on from Oakton CC
Ryan Brown, (SO) 6-foot-5 (190) will have three years to play at the D1 level starting next season. Brown recently finished the season at Oakton Community College in Illinois.
Ryan has signed with California State University-Bakersfield. Brown started off his college career at Northern Illinois during the 2005-2006 where he redshirted. Ryan averaged 13 ppg this season for Oakton CC and was picked a All Skyway Conference

performer. Ryan led Oakton CC to the national tournament in Danville, IL this season. Brown really excels in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA.
"Ryan is a highly competitive, versatile perimeter player," said CSU-Bakersfield head coach Keith Brown. "He is an excellent defender with a basketball I.Q and we expect him to make immediate contributions both on and off the floor."
Stephen Evans, a teammate of Brown's at Oakton CC, has signed on with Tennessee State for next season. Evans, 6-foot-8 (190) from Marietta, GA, averaged 9 ppg and eight rebounds this season.
