Two New York prospects sign letters

April is a crazy month of signings throughout the college basketball game. Two New York City area players recently signed with Division One schools for next season and JucoJunction has the details in this story.
Kevin White, (SO) 5-foot-10 (170) from Brooklyn, NY, plays at Technical Career Institute in New York City has signed with University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

"Kevin is a pretty adaptable floor general who can either play fast or slow. He really understands his role as a floor general and to get others involved in the offense," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
White, a point guard, visited UC-Riverside a few weeks back this spring. He now joins fellow Generals player Kevin Anderson (Cleveland State) in signing with a Division One program for next season.
Markeys Deans, (SO) 6-foot-5 (220) from Howard College in Big Spring, TX, is coming back to play in his backyard next season at Long Island University according to Hawks assistant coach Darren French. Deans averaged 12.9 ppg and 5.6 rebounds this season for the Hawks. Deans prepped at St. Dominic's in West Hempstead, NY. Deans played two seasons for the Hawks.
