Two Rangers sign

Ranger College has made great strides under the leadership of head coach Rodney "Mac" McConnell the three years he has been at the helm. Ranger College finished this season at 16-14 in Region V (North Texas) play. JucoJunction.com found out today that a few players from Ranger College have signed onto four year schools for next season.
Bryant Purvis will play at Southeastern Louisiana University and Malik Edwards will play at NCAA Division 2 school Fort Valley State in Georgia according to McConnell. Purvis 6-foot-7 from Jena, LA averaged 11 ppg and 4 rebounds this past season. Purvis's brother Jason Hatcher plays for the NFL Dallas Cowboys. "Bryant is a skilled small forward that's crafty around the basket" said Swanson.

"Malik Edwards is a very strong power forward that has a great body and frame" said Swanson. Edwards who has played the past two seasons for the Rangers hails from Atlanta, GA. Edwards averaged 5 ppg and 5 rebounds this season.
