Two sign from Irvine Valley

The Irvine Valley College Lasers finished (27-5) on the season this past year. The Lasers battled out conference play with Fullerton College. Head coach Jerry Hernandez contacted JucoJunction today to give us a update on a few of his sophomores recruiting status.
A.J. Kapanoske: (SO) 6-foot-7 (220). Kapanoske signed recently with Sacramento State according to Hernandez.

"A.J. is a great role player that plays in the post with his back to the basket," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
A.J. averaged 3.9 ppg on this very talented team this season.
Kashif Watson: (SO) 6-foot-4 (190) from Las Vegas, NV. Watson played his freshman season at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa. Kashif will take his game to Moscow, ID next season and play at the University of Idaho according to Hernandez. Watson averaged 13.3 ppg, 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists this year. Kashif shot 52.3% (148-283) from the floor for the Lasers.
Blake Wallace: (SO) 6-foot-6 (220) from Anaheim, CA. Wallace played at Pepperdine University as a freshman where he averaged 4.7 ppg. Blake is receiving interest from UC-Irvine, Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, Boise State and San Francisco this spring. Wallace averaged 12.9 ppg and 7.3 rebounds this season while shooting 59.7%
(148-248) from the floor.
