Two sign from Yuba College

Yuba College in Northern California recently had two players sign on with Division One programs for next season. 49ers head coach Doug Cornelius gave JucoJunction the heads up on these two signings today. Yuba College finished the season at 25-10 and made a trip to the Final Eight in Fresno this past March. JucoJunction has the latest on these two players in this article.
Cervante Burrell, (FR) 5-foot-10 from Sacramento, CA, is headed off to the great Northwest to play at Seattle University. The Redhawks are making the transition into Division One and have a new head coach in former UCLA player and Washington assistant basketball coach in Cameron Dollar. Burrell, a freshman, will have three years to play for the Redhawks starting this fall. Cervante averaged 11.9 ppg, 4.6 assists and 2.4 steals while shooting 54.1% (146-270) from the floor.
