Two sign on in Ohio Valley

JucoJunction has been working the phone lines hard the past week on running down signings throughout the country. Two Midwest players decided to sign this week with two different Ohio Valley Conference schools and JucoJunction has it right here in this article.
Anthony Allison, (SO) 5-foot-11 (170) from Marianna, AR and Missouri State-West Plains, will play for head coach Dickey Nutt next season at Southeast Missouri State University next season. Allison, a point guard, averaged 12.7 ppg for the Grizzlies this past season. Anthony will join fellow junior college player Leon Powell from Indian Hills Community College next season at SEMO.

"Anthony can really defend on the ball and knock down the midrange jumper," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Anthony Mitchell, (FR) 6-foot-4 from East St. Louis, IL, has signed with Southern Illinois-Edwardsville next season. SIUE is a new Division One program that is part of the OVC Conference. Mitchell redshirted at Highland Community College in Freeport, IL this season after only playing in two games and will have three years to play at SIUE according to Cougars assistant coach Ronnie Dean.
