Two taking visits from Hagerstown

The Hawks of Hagerstown Community College finished the season at (22-8) this past year. The Hawks lost in the Region tourney to Garrett CC (WV) to end their season. Interim head coach Ryan Devlin recently left to take a position at a local high school. Devlin had been tagged the interim head coach when then head coach Terry Truax stepped down back in first semester.
Hagerstown Community College defeated then undefeated Vincennes University back in the fall at the Allegany Tourney. Assistant coach Earl Redden touched based with JucoJunction today about three sophomores that the Hawks have.

Kelvin Bright: (SO) 6-foot-5 (170) from Gaithersburg, MD. Bright played his freshman season at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA.
"Bright, a 2/3 man, can really make plays and his very active on the floor," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Kelvin scored 24 plus points this season in 21 games for the Hawks according to Redden.
"Kelvin was our go-to guy all year long," said Redden.
Bright has received interest from Duquense, Western Carolina-offered, Youngstown State-offered, High Point, Delaware State-offered and Maryland Eastern Shore-offered. Kelvin was a first team all region selection. Bright averaged 24 ppg,4.2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.1 steals per outing this season.
John Long: (SO) 6-foot-7 (210) from Hagerstown, MD.
"John has made great strides over the past two seasons. He can really play above the rim," said Redden.
Long averaged 9.4 ppg and 12.1 rebounds this season for the Hawks. Long is currently on the campus of Western Carolina for an official visit. Long, a second-team all-region player, has strong interest from Cleveland State-offered, Charleston Southern, Morgan State and Maryland Eastern Shore according to Redden.
