Holloway and Sanders are now the fourth and fifth players from the Wabash Valley College squad this season to find a Division One school for next year.
"I really enjoyed the coaching staff at Coastal Carolina and they are currently winning alot of games with great strong young point guards," said Holloway.
"Desmond has a great mid-range game with a scorers mentality from the wing position on the floor," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Holloway received interest from Murray State,Portland State,Austin Peay and Wright State this spring. Holloway is currently at 18.1 ppg and 4.2 rebounds this season while shooting 52% (155-301) from the floor and 35% from three-point range.
Sanders, (SO) 6-foot-7, started his college at Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, SC as a freshman. Sanders, a Spartanburg native, is a small forward who will play for the Bulldogs at South Carolins State University next season in the MEAC Conference.
"Omar is a very bouncy small forward who likes to play uptempo and excels out in transition," said Swanson.
Sanders is collecting 10.1 ppg and 6.5 rebounds a outing this season while shooting 56% (113-201) from the floor for the Warriors. Sanders received interest this spring from Middle Tennessee State and Western Carolina before deciding on the Bulldogs.
Coach Sparks will look to lead his Warriors to Hutchinson, KS later this month and you can catch all the action right here on your source for junior college recruiting, JucoJunction.
