Tyree Graham makes Division One return

Tyree Graham knows his way to Division One basketball after already playing at Texas Tech University as a freshman. Graham led his teammates from Brunswick Community College in Supply, NC to the NJCAA National Tourney this season. The trip to Hutch was the first in the school's history. JucoJunction takes a closer look on where this Dolphins player is headed next season.
"Tyree will play at UAB next season in Conference USA. Tyree was UAB's top target all season long. He really felt quite comfortable with head coach Mike Davis and his staff. Tyree had a chance to watch UAB play all season long after visiting the school back in the fall," said Dolphins Head Coach Walter Shaw. "Tyree feels he can provide that outside punch that was missing from the Blazers this year along with being another ballhandler on the floor."

Graham played his freshman semester last year at Texas Tech and then transferred to Harcum College in January 2010. Graham didn't play for the Bears and left the school after one semester. Graham will have two years to play for the Blazers. Graham was a first team all-region performer this season and averaged 17.4ppg, 3.88 rebounds and 3.7 assists this past season while shooting 43% (68-160) from three-point range.
JucoJunction will follow the rest of Region 10 this spring during the NCAA signing period which starts on Wednesday.
