UALR adds two more juco prospects

Southern Union State Community College in Alabama is coached by longtime head coach Ron Radford. The Bison have two players signed on for next season and both of them plan on staying together at the next level. JucoJunction has the latest on these two players in this story.

Montrell Thornton and Ricky Davison will both take their games to the Sun Belt Conference next season and will play at Arkansas Little Rock. Thornton, (SO) 6-foot-8 from Bowdon, AL, is a physical post player. Davison, (SO) 6-foot-4 from Letohatchee, AL, is a combo guard.

Davison is leading the Bison in scoring this season at 19 ppg. Thornton averaged 10.9 ppg and 7.3 rebounds as a freshman for the Bison. The Trojans now have added four junior college players to the mix next season. Ervin Spruiel from Angelina College and Devon McBride from Hutchinson Community College will join Thornton and Davison next season.
