Updates on two McLennan prospects

McLennan Community College in Waco, TX finished last year at 23-8 on the season. JucoJunction had a chance to touch base with assistant coach Larren Silver today on (SO) Walt Harris and (FR) Jamarcus Little.
Walt Harris, (SO) 6-foot-5 (185), from Harker Heights, TX. Harris just returned from a visit this past weekend to Weber State. Walt will be visiting Stephen F. Austin and South Alabama in the future. Harris will visit Stephen F. Austin on September 21-23. He holds offers from all three schools.

"Walt is the total all-around player. He can draw charges, hits pullup jumpers and can really defend the ball well. Walt is our leader on the floor and he is learning to be more vocal on the floor this season," said Silver.
Harris played this past summer at Jerry Mullen's JUCO 120 Camp in Tulsa, OK. Harris averaged 12.3 ppg last year while gathering Freshman of the Year honors and 1st team All
conference.
Jamarcus Little, (FR) 6-foot-8 (256) from Lufkin, TX. Little is a five man on the floor that is an academic qualifier. Jamarcus has already made up his mind and will attend McNeese State University next fall. Little will have three years to play at McNeese State.
"Jamarcus has a 7'0 wingspan and can really post you up strong," said Silver.
JucoJunction will have a chance to see McLennan play next month in Dallas at the Mitchell/Mullens Dallas Blowout.
