UT-Pan American signs two

Texas Pan American has been very active in the junior college scene this season. The Broncs just recently signed two more players for next season. JucoJunction has the latest on Broncs signings in this story.

Luis Valera, (SO) 6-foot-7, from Marshalltown Community College in Iowa has signed with Broncs along with freshman P.J. Turner from Santa Fe Community College. Valera hails from Venezuela and averaged 10.2 ppg, 6.7 rebounds and shot 54% from the floor this season for the Tigers.

Turner, (FR) 5-foot-11, will have three years left to play for the Broncs. P.J., an academic qualifier coming out of high school, led Santa Fe Community College to the Florida state juco tourney this past season. P.J. averaged 7.2 ppg and 4.8 assists from the point guard position this season for the (21-7) Saints.
