Vikings look to make move

JucoJunction had a chance to see a lot of schools play this past month. JucoJunction takes a closer look at one school we saw in the northeast at Rick Balls' JUCO Jamboree in New York City. Read more about this program right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
The Westchester Community College Vikings call Valhalla, N.Y. home which is just north of the Big Apple. The Vikings are coached by Tyrone Mushatt.

Brandon Romain is a third year player who started his college career at Post University in Connecticut before transferring to Morehead State University.
Romain averaged 18 points per game as a freshman in 2008-2009 after leaving high school in Brooklyn. "Brandon is a left-handed guard who likes to shoot it from 10-12 feet within the basket," said Bret Swanson.
Marcus Damas might have a chance to leave after one season with the Vikings. Damas is a small forward who redshirted last season at Cowley College in Arkansas City, K.S. "Marcus is a jack of all trades type of a player," said Swanson. "Look for him to bounce with three years to play after this season."
Clayton Sterling is a former division one transfer from the University of Toledo. Sterling is a fast pace playing point guard. Sterling is a third year player player now so that means he will need 60 percent towards his graduation requirements.
Look for the Vikings to play towards the top of the region this season out on the east coast. JucoJunction will keep you updated on them all season long right here here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
