Vincennes big man looking at four

Vincennes University has traditionally been one of the top junior college programs in the nation. After a coaching change, Everick Sullivan had VU right back among the nation's best. Vincennes was 26-and-6 this year, led by big man Frantz Dorsainvil.
"He's a specimen of a big guy, just a manchild," Sullivan said. "He can score the ball. He is able to score from 12 to 15 feet around the basket with jump hooks. He can face up, hit the sweeping hook. He's able to play defense on bigger posts. He'll be really effective at the next level. He wasn't allowed to be as physical here as he will be in the Big Ten, PAC-10, Big East. He is the prototypical big guy."

Which is why some big time schools are in on Dorsainvil late in the game.
"St. Bonaventure, Oregon, Indiana wants to look at him, Cincinnati. As of now, those are the four schools that have shown a lot of interest in him," Sullivan said. "But you've still got schools like Nebraska and UN LV that are trying to get involved."
Dorsainvil has visited the Bonnies and the Ducks. He has three visits left if he wants to use them, but Sullivan said he will have a decision by the end of the signing period on May 17th. Dorsainvil averaged 10.7 points and seven rebounds a game this year, leading VU in both categories.
"Compared to his first year, he made an unbelievably tremendous turnaround in terms of confidence," Sullivan said. "He was making a lot of adjustments to have to play 6-4 post guys in juco, he just couldn't play those guys the same. He had a good year for us, about a ten and eight guy and he probably only shot the ball about six or seven times a game."
Dorsainvil will be a good pickup for someone late in the game. His teammate, Kris Clark, signed earlier this year with Utah State and Darral Payton is waiting on grades to determine his future.
