New Mexico Junior College assistant coach James Miller informed JucoJunction today that Dequan Hicks recently took a visit to Missouri State University. Missouri State University plays in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Hicks is a power forward from Racine, Wisc. who is currently averaging 12 points and 7.1 rebounds per game this season for the Thunderbirds. Hicks played this past summer at Jerry Mullen's JUCO Camp in St Charles, Mo. on the campus of Lindenwood University.
Hicks is receiving interest from the University of Southern Mississippi, New Mexico, Duquesne, Central Michigan University, San Jose State, Tennessee and Seattle University according to Miller.
Hicks is ranked No. 64 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150.
