John A Logan College assistant coach Zach Carpenter informed JucoJunction today that Alex Brown will play out at San Jose State University next season. Brown will join fellow teammate Xavier Jones next season in a Spartans uniform.

Brown is ranked No. 27 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. Brown, who originally signed with Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville out of high school, will have two years to play for the Spartans.
Brown averaged 10.4 points, 7 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots this season for the Volunteers. John A Logan College is located in Carterville, Ill. near Carbondale.
