Volunteers player Lone Star bound

The GRAC Conference in Southern Illinois is no stranger for putting out basketball talent year and every year. One player decided that one official visit would be enough for him and decided to end his recruitment early.

Connell Crossland will play at Texas Christian University next season in the Big East Conference.
The lefthanded wing player started off his college career at Highland Community College in Freeport, I.L. before arriving at John A Logan College this year.
The St. Louis, M.O. native visited the TCU campus this weekend with teammate Nathaniel Butler.
Crossland averaged 17 points and 12.3 rebounds per game this season while shooting 58 percent from the floor.
The Volunteers finished the season at 18-10. Crossland now joins teammate Stan Simpson in finding a NCAA D1 school for next fall. Simpson will play at Memphis.
