Wabashs Weeden and Brown Have Options

Quinnel Brown and Tony Weeden helped Wabash Valley College of Mt. Carmel, Ill., reach the Region 24 Tournament Championship last month.
Now the sophomore duo is looking to move on to four-year colleges in the fall.

Brown, a 6-5, 210 pound combination forward, visited Ball State last weekend (March 29). According to Wabash Valley Head Coach Mark Nelson, Brown will also take trips to Creighton and Auburn.
The Chicago native is a fine athlete who gets a lot done around the basket. He has worked on fine tuning his ball handling skills and outside shooting this season. Nelson said that Brown will graduate on time.
Weeden, a well built 6-2 swingman/guard, is an athletic driver and finisher. Albany, Middle Tennessee State and IUPUI are the programs looking at Weeden this spring, Nelson said.
Weeden spent his freshman year at Lewis & Clark J.C. prior to transferring into Wabash Valley this past fall.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on both Weeden and Brown this spring as the signing period approaches. Stay tuned!
