Laurel Hill, Fla. native Demetrius Moore will play at Louisiana Tech University next season according to Northwest Florida State College head coach Steve Forbes. Forbes will be in his first year coaching the Raiders after serving as assistant coach at the University of Tennessee.

Moore averaged 4.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game last season for the Raiders. The forward/center played this past summer in the Mullen's JUCO Camp on the campus of Lindenwood University in St Charles, Mo.
"Demetrius is the most improved player on the team from this summer. He has the ability to use both the right and left hand around the basket with touch," said Forbes. Moore has added 10 pounds to his frame during the off season according to Forbes.
