Wallace, who began his junior college career two years ago at Redlands in Oklahoma, took an official visit to Wright State this past weekend (Sept. 12-14).
Swanson said that Wallace spent part of last year at NCAA Division III Wisconsin-Stout.
"LaMorris has good athleticism," Swanson said. "He's a long and agile shot blocker who is limited offensively."
Assuming Wallace earns his associates degree by the summer of 2004, he will have two years of eligibility at Wright State.
JUCO Junction plans on catching Wallace in action next month at the Illinois Valley Jamboree in Oglesby, Ill.
In other Triton player news, high scoring 6-2 sophomore shooting guard Quinton Young has an official visit on tap this weekend.
Young will officially visit Eastern Washington this weekend (Sept. 19-21).
Swanson confirmed Young's trip to the Big Sky Conference program with Coach Connor.
In addition to Eastern Washington, UNC-Greensboro, East Carolina and Florida Atlantic have also been linked with Young this fall.
A full qualifier out of high school, Young is a southpaw slinger who averaged roughly 20 points per game for Triton as a freshman. He impressed JUCO Junction with his scoring acumen at the 2002 Illinois Valley Jamboree.
