Warrior pulls the trigger

The GRAC Conference in Southern Illinois is no stranger to producing division one basketball talent. Today JucoJunction learned of one player from the GRAC Conference will take his skills to the Mid-American Conference. The 17th ranked player in the JucoJunction Top 150 is now off the board. Chris Evans informed JucoJunction this afternoon he will be playing at Kent State University next season.

The sophomore at Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, I.L. will have two years to play for Kent State.
Evans started his college career at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. "I feel very comfortable with the decision I have made. My relationship with Coach Bobby Steinburg and my comfort level with Head Coach Geno Ford made the decision easy this time around," said Evans.
Evans is currently averaging 18.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season for the 18-2 Warriors. Evans is hitting on 60.6 percent (111-183) from the floor this season. The Warriors are coached by legendary head coach Dan Sparks.
