Warriors stay perfect

Having eleven freshman on a roster isn't always easy to deal with. One program in the Midwest is now off to a 11-0 start and has vaulted to a third place ranking in the NJCAA D1 poll after beating a very good NJCAA D2 team last night. Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa is still perfect on the season under head coach Barret Peery. The Warriors narrowly beat Kirkwood Community College last night 79-77. The Warriors outscored the Eagles 11-2 the last three minutes of the game to win the contest.

Freshman Jameel McKay led the way with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Roderick Bobbitt added 13 points, D.J. Bennett 11 and 8 rebounds and Brandon Spearman 9 points for the victors. Matt Tiby scored 22 points for Kirkwood Community College.
The Warriors will host its own PCS Classic this coming weekend with Moraine Valley Community College and Howard Junior College from Big Spring, Tex. The Warriors will play the Hawks on Saturday night.
