In addition to the Wolfpack program, Southwest Texas, Middle Tennessee State and Kent State are also looking at Washington.
Washington impressed JUCO Junction at the Region V Tournament in Plano, Tex., where he helped the Texans earn a return trip to the NJCAA Tournament last month.
A quick leaper who can make things happen on the offensive glass, Washington also has a fairly reliable stroke out to midrange.
As a sophomore, Washington averaged 11.7 points and 5.2 rebounds on a team that went eight deep. He shot 54 percent from the field, 32 percent from beyond the arc and 76 percent from the charity stripe.
A native of Columbia, S.C., Washington is expected to sign a national letter of intent this spring and graduate in the summer. JUCO Junction will keep you posted on his recruitment until a decision is reached, so stay tuned.
