Waycross player decides

Waycross College in Georgia has only had a basketball program now for two seasons. Head Coach Cory Baldwin contacted JucoJunction today on one of his players making a verbal commitment for next season. "Josh Mendenhall will play at Western Carolina University. I am excited for Josh, he will play for a great program and get back closer to home," said Baldwin. Mendenhall hails from the northern part of South Carolina in Berea.
Mendenhall averaged 8.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game last season for the Swamp Foxes. "Josh is a very athletic post player with a incredible wingspan. He plays with a great motor on the floor and can alter a game on both ends of the floor," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
