West Hills has players to watch

The early signing period opens up on Wednesday and West Hills (CA) College guard Brandon Brown plans to ink his letter with Utah State.
Brown played the 2004-05 season at Beaver County CC in Pennsylvania, but transferred to West Hills to play with his friend and fellow Philly native Jermaine Brown. He redshirted a season ago.

"Brandon will play the 3 in our motion offense," said coach Ryan Walker. "He's a good kid with a fantastic work ethic. He runs the floor extremely well, shoots it, slashes and finishes. Brandon has very long arms, that allow him to extend over taller players, making him an inside/outside threat."
"I'm excited about going to play at Utah State. I like the players, coaches and school. I feel comfortable going there and think I will get in the mix soon," Brown added. "It's a good conference with great competition."
In addition to both Browns, Joshua Lopez, Charles Carter and point guar Ricky Branham could all end up as Division One players.
"So far schools such as CS Fullerton, LB State, Utah St., Boise St., Fresno St., Cal State Bakersfield, and Northern Arizona have shown interest and visited us at practice," Walker said.
JucoJunction will continue to follow the prospects at West Hills.
