Barreno, a center, started his college career at the University of Tulane.

Barreno averaged 6 ppg and 3.6 rebounds this season for the T-Birds.
The T-Birds finished the season at 23-9.
David Kadiri got hot right at seasons end for South Plains College. Kadiri, a former UMBC transfer, will continue his career at the University of Buffalo next fall.
Kadiri had 13 points, 14 rebounds and 8 blocks in the NJCAA National Tourney Championship game versus Northwest Florida State College this past March.
The Texans lost 83-80 to finish the season at 29-7 under long time head coach Steve Green.
