What a Shocker

Playing in the Mullens JUCO Camp last month didn't hurt one players recruitment as he ended it today with a college decision. Read more about which player will take his game to the Missouri Valley Conference right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.
"I'm going to play at Wichita State University this coming season," said James Anacreon to JucoJunction today. Anacreon a native of Hollis, N.Y. will have two seasons to play for the Shockers. The Shockers are preparing to leave for an 11 day trip to Brazil.

Anacreon attended Snead State Community College and Broward College in the past. He finished up at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Ill. this past season for head coach Cedric Brown. Anacreon averaged 14.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game and shot 62.3 percent (139-223) from the floor. The Lakers finished the year at 20-12 in the GRAC Conference in Region 24.
Anacreon told JucoJunction he had received interest from Hofstra, IPFW and Utah before deciding on the Shockers. Anacreon visited the Utes this past weekend.
