Bulldogs assistant coach Eric Colbert informed JucoJunction today that four players have signed with NCAA Division One schools for next season. Tank Mayberry and Hyjjii Thomas will remain teammates at the University of Texas San Antonio.
Mayberry will have three years to play at UTSA after averaging just 2 points and 3 rebounds a game this season. Thomas averaged 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds and led the Bulldogs to the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, Kan. this past March. "Hyjjii is a great athlete with a thin frame who really loves to attack the basket," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
"Amos Olatatyo has signed with the University of Louisiana-Monroe while DeShone McClure will play at Central Arkansas University," said Colbert.
Olatatyo averaged 9.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while McClure is a transfer from Seminole State (OK).
