Wildcats decide on future

Mathis, the longtime head coach at Pearl River Community College, informed JucoJunction that Phillip Crawford will play at Alabama State and point guard Pedro Maciel will suit up for Nicholls State University in the Southland Conference

Crawford was a first team All-MACJC JC and All Region 23 performer this season for the Wildcats. Crawford averaged 18.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game last season. Crawford hails from Mobile, A.L.
Maciel is a former NCAA D1 transfer from Centenary University. Maciel, a native of Brazil, prepped at St Stanislaus in Bay St Louis, M.S. before playing at Pearl River Community College this past season. Maciel averaged five points and 5.4 assists per game this past season for the 20-5 Wildcats program.
The duo now joins Emil Jones who signed with Troy University earlier this spring at the Division One level.
