Windy city bound

Highland Community College in Freeport, Ill. finished the season at 26-8 under head coach Zac Roman. The Cougars will have to replace point Jeremy Parker for next season.

"Jeremy will play at the University of Illinois-Chicago next season," said Roman. The point guard will have three years to play for the Flames. Parker was an academic qualifier coming out of high school at Thornton High School in Harvey, Ill.
Parker averaged 8.6 points, 4.9 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game this past season for the Cougars.
