Wolverines sign two from California
Ian Pinckney, (FR) 6-foot-2 (180) from Long Beach City College, and Jourdain Scoubes, (SO) 6-foot-8 (260) from Feather River College have signed with Utah Valley State College for next season.
Pinckney, a Chicago, IL native, attended Kenwood Academy. The academic qualifier is currently averaging 11.6 ppg and 5.1 rebounds this season for LBCC. Ian will have three years to play for the Wolverines. Utah Valley State College Dick Hunsaker has had numerous Chicago players in the past.
Scoubes, from Redding, CA, is averaging 10.8 ppg and 8.2 rebounds for the Golden Eagles this season. Scoubes joins teammate Zack Atkinson (Cal-Irvine) in signing this fall. Jourdain averaged 10.4 ppg and 6.2 rebounds as a freshman last season. Feather River College is located in Quincy, CA.
