Woodley Garnering D-I Interest

Jared Woodley, a 5-11, 170 pound point guard from Howard C.C. in Columbia, Md., was terrific on Friday night at the Maryland JUCO Tournament.
Woodley connected on five three pointers on the way to 30 points, and also dropped a number of assists in the Dragons' 77-74 victory over Prince Georges C.C.

A product of Calvert Hall H.S. in Baltimore, Md., Woodley is in his second year at Howard. He sat out at the school last year after transferring in from Division II Wheeling Jesuit in West Virginia.
Woodley averages 19 points and 11 assists per game this season for the Dragons. That latter stat ranks tops among Division II JUCO players nationally.
As a result of his stellar play this winter, programs such as Ohio University, Winthrop and East Tennessee State are now looking at Woodley.
