Wrangler prospect ready to move on

Devon McLendon has had a rough two seasons at Odessa College in Odessa, TX. McLendon recently took a visit to the East Coast. He came away liking what he saw and committed to the school. JucoJunction has the latest on where this Wranglers basketball player will call home next season.
McLendon, a (SO) 6-foot-4 (215) combo guard, will be heading to High Point University in High Point, NC next season. McLendon was dismissed from the team at Odessa College this season back in January after playing in 18 games for the Wranglers. Devon averaged 16.3 ppg this season.

"Devon is a very athletic and skilled player who can play the 1-3 positions on the floor. Devon is very good off the dribble and can really create his own shot," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson
McLendon only played the second semester at Odessa College as a freshman and averaged 11.1 ppg in 17 games. McLendon is a Sharon Hill, PA native.
