"Tom plays both ends of the floor, take charges and leads our team team in rebounds and blocks," said Brown.
Utah, UNLV, Weber State, Utah State, Boise State and Northern Arizona are keeping tabs on Whitehead. Earlier this season versus Bismarck State (ND), Whitehead exploded for 47 points on 18-23 from the floor. Tom is averaging 22.4 ppg,7.8 rebounds and shooting 56% (167-297) from the floor.
Whitehead was a non-qualifier out of high school but must graduate and appeal the three semester rule to the NCAA to move on.
Jeremy Brooks: (SO) 6-foot-0 (175) from Phoenix, AZ.
"Brooks can really defend and has good athleticism," said Brown.
He is averaging 8.2 ppg and 4 rebounds from the point guard position. Jeremy is receiving
interest from Grand Canyon (AZ), Montana State and Dixie State (UT).
Steve Hudson: (SO) 6-foot-0 (180) from Phoenix, AZ.
"The combo guard is a great vocal leader on the floor. Steve's father is a basketball coach," said Brown.
The crafty Hudson is averaging 10.8 ppg and 3.6 assists this season for the Roughriders. Dixie State (UT), Rollins (FL), Mercyhurst (PA) and Hawaii-Pacific are calling on him.
Kevin Porter: (SO) 6-foot-8 (225) from Colorado Springs, CO.
"Porter is a power forward that's a big body but prefers to play the faceup game," said Brown.
Kevin is averaging two ppg this season.
