Yuba College has more to offer

The 49ers from Yuba College still played well this weekend with four of their top players not in attendance at the Diablo Valley College Jamboree in Pleasant Hill,CA. We profiled those players in a story earlier this week. Here a few more names from the Yuba College 49ers that were in attendance.
Xavier Crawford: (SO) 6-foot-11 (218) from Minneapolis, MN. Crawford attended Boys to Men Academy (IL) and Mount Zion Christian Academy (NC) before landing in Maryville, CA last season for head coach Doug Cornelius. Crawford averaged 5.2 ppg last season while shooting 59% (65-110) from the floor.

"Xavier needs to stay consistent night in and night out to be effective," said Cornelius.
Crawford has received some early interest from Wyoming, Missouri, Tennessee and
Minnesota.
Kyle Rische: (SO) 6-foot-7 (200) from Orlando, FL. Rische averaged just 1.9 ppg and recorded 103 blocks (3.4 blocks per game). Kyle's never played organized basketball until last season. Rische didn't play in high school in Florida and is a virtual unknown throughout the country but not on the ESPN City Slam Dunk contest. Rische has a 40 inch vertical according to coach Cornelius. Kyle won the St. Louis regional of
the Dunk Contest and then placed 2nd nationally in Florida. Sacramento State has shown some early interest in the left-handed forward.
Mason Visman: (FR) 6-foot-7 (220) attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo last season as a student. The academic qualifier can leave after this season and will have three years left to play at the next level.
"Mason doesn't back down on the block and can step out and shoot the three ball," said Cornelius.
